Arrival

This was the best trip as far as logistics. Flights were on time and connections were smooth. I think the thing I liked best was when we got to the airport there was someone from Oceania to meet us. All of the arrangements were made and people were there to take care of the luggage,the transportation, and just someone to welcome you after a long day of travel. We had a much different experience landing Mexico City years ago but that's material for another post. 

We welcomed by our steward Joel who was so nice. He's here to help us have a great experience on our cruise. Marisa and I are sitting on the balcony of our room looking at the beautiful old part of Venice. Even though we have been up for more than 24 hours I am tired but that contented tired. 

We will need to get some rest because tomorrow we are going on a tour to Murrano where they make those amazing glass ornaments. The rest of the day we will just do some sightseeing on our own. The wifi here is so spotty. I tried sending pictures to the boys as part of a message and it just hangs and then doesn't go through.  So I'll add pictures to the blog posts after we get home.
